Job Description:

Timescape – Live Escape Games is seeking a creative and proactive Freelance Social Media Manager to manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This role focuses on content creation, platform management, and audience engagement, helping to showcase the excitement and immersive nature of our escape room experiences in Belfast.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of short-form video, social trends, and storytelling, along with strong graphic design skills and a proven ability to produce visually engaging content. This role requires confidence capturing and creating content both on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

• Produce short-form video content including player reactions, gameplay moments, behind-the-scenes footage, team content, trend-led videos, and promotional posts.

• Design high-quality static posts, story graphics, and promotional assets aligned with the Timescape brand.

• Plan, schedule, and manage weekly social media content output.

• Attend the venue for on-site filming sessions as required.

• Manage comments, direct messages, and community engagement in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor content performance and adapt strategy to improve reach and engagement.

• Create and supply one fully designed marketing email per month, including copy, graphics, and calls to action, to support promotions, launches, or seasonal campaigns.

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.

Weekly Content Output:

• 6 short-form videos per week (posted to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook Reels)

• 2 static posts per week (posted to Instagram and Facebook)

• 4 Instagram story frames per week

Monthly Deliverables:

• 2 on-site content filming sessions per month (up to 2 hours per session)

• 1 fully designed marketing email per month, including copy, subject line, preview text, email graphics, and CTA, supplied ready for upload to the email platform

• Monthly performance summary, including engagement, reach, and top-performing content

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts.

• Strong graphic design skills, with the ability to create visually engaging static posts, story graphics, and promotional content.

• Strong understanding of short-form video content and social media trends.

• Confident filming and editing content (phone-first content is acceptable).

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

• Must be able to attend the Timescape venue in Belfast for scheduled content capture sessions.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in entertainment, hospitality, events, or attractions.

• Familiarity with design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, InShot, or Premiere Pro.

• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.

• Experience writing marketing or promotional email content.
