About the role

Timescape: Live Escape Games is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Game Master for our immersive escape room experiences in Belfast. As a Game Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable adventure.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide them with a comprehensive briefing on game rules and objectives.
  • Supervise and guide players through their escape room experience, offering assistance and hints as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
  • Reset and prepare escape rooms for subsequent groups, ensuring each experience is fresh and exciting.
  • Assist with general operational tasks and facility maintenance and cleaning as required.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and courteous in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to commute to venues at short notice (2.5 hours notice) so being located in or near Belfast is essential.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or entertainment industry is advantageous but not essential.

Availability

  • Must be able to provide availability for a minimum of 3 weekday blocks and 2 weekend blocks per week. At least 1 of the weekday blocks must be an evening block (3:30 PM to 10:00 PM).
  • Early block: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Evening block: 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Providing these minimum blocks does not guarantee these hours of work per week. Actual hours are assigned within these blocks as bookings come in, based on customer demand.

Content Creator & Social Media ManagerBelfast, hybrid · Freelance monthly retainer · £1,000 per month

The role

We’re looking for a talented Content Creator & Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media channels and help showcase the excitement, personality and creativity behind the Timescape brand. This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll be responsible for planning, creating and managing content across our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Film and edit high-quality short-form video content, including player reactions, behind-the-scenes footage, room highlights, team content, trend-led videos and promotional campaigns.
  • Design eye-catching graphics for social media, promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and schedule content, manage comments, messages and community engagement.
  • Create one fully designed marketing email each month.
  • Monitor content performance and bring fresh ideas, trends and creative concepts to the table.

Weekly deliverables

  • 4 short-form videos (Reels/TikToks).
  • 2 static graphic posts.
  • Instagram Stories throughout the week (typically around 3 story updates).
  • Monthly: at least one on-site content capture session, one fully designed marketing email and a performance report.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts.
  • Excellent graphic design, filming, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, the ability to work independently and attend our Belfast venue for regular content capture sessions.
