General Manager
Job Title: General Manager
Location: Belfast City Center
Contract: Full-time/Permanent
Pay Rate: £30k (32.5k with added responsibility)
Requirements: 45 hour working week including weekend work. 6-month probation period.
Benefits: Employer pension contributions. 28 days holidays per year (Including bank holidays).
Job Description:
We are seeking a General Manager to oversee our two Belfast City Center locations. In this role, you will manage daily operations, lead and develop staff, and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer experiences. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success and expansion of Belfast’s top entertainment venue.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations at both Belfast locations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure all escape rooms are properly maintained, reset, and ready for guests.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including game masters and customer service representatives.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Business Development:
- Identify and implement new revenue streams, such as themed events, corporate packages, and merchandise sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies to boost off-peak bookings.
- Explore partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand exposure and revenue.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Promote events and special offers to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Engage with the local community and build partnerships to enhance the brand’s visibility.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Implement and maintain emergency procedures and protocols.
Requirements:

Marketing and Social Media Manager
Job Title: Marketing and Social Media Manager
Location: Remote with occasional on site visits required
Contract: Freelance
Pay Rate: £800/month
We are seeking a creative and driven Freelance Marketing and Social Media Manager to manage all of our digital content and social media presence. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, experience in digital marketing, and a strong understanding of the escape room industry or entertainment sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, unique content for each platform:
- Facebook: 4 pieces of content per week
- Instagram: 4 pieces of content per week
- TikTok: 4 pieces of content per week
- Email: 1 marketing email per month (minimum). Note: Some months may require additional emails.
- Manage the creation and delivery of marketing emails, including offers, updates, and content for our customers.
- Plan, execute, and monitor paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to drive traffic and bookings.
- Create 1-2 new ad campaigns per month with 2-3 variations per campaign to test different creatives.
- Launch additional ad campaigns for special promotions or seasonal events.
- Regularly track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement rates, ad performance, reach, conversions) to ensure campaigns are optimized for success.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and business owners to create a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Monitor and engage with followers to build an active online community and address customer queries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Experience creating and running paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Graphic design and video editing skills to produce high-quality visuals and videos for all platforms.
- Strong content creation skills with the ability to create engaging and on-brand graphics, videos, and copy.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of social media trends, tools, and analytics.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Contract Details:
- Freelance, remote role with occasional on site visits required.
- £800 per month.
- The expectation of approximately 10-12 hours of work per week.

Games Master

Job Description:
Timescape: Live Escape Games is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Game Master for our immersive escape room experiences in Belfast. As a Game Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable adventure.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and provide them with a comprehensive briefing on game rules and objectives.
- Supervise and guide players through their escape room experience, offering assistance and hints as needed.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
- Reset and prepare escape rooms for subsequent groups, ensuring each experience is fresh and exciting.
- Assist with general operational tasks and facility maintenance and cleaning as required.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed and courteous in high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Must provide a minimum of 25 hours of availability per week, between the daily opening hours of 10am-10pm, to cover any potential bookings that come in, including weekends.
- Must be able to commute to venues at short notice (3 hours notice) so being located in or near Belfast is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or entertainment industry is advantageous but not essential.
